Music is very important for the creation of the atmosphere, and since our short film is located on a disco, a key element. From the very beginning we had clear that we wanted music that actually is played in discos, such as trap music being Droeloe and Trap Nation our main references.
We are very lucky to be able to work with Paul Swylë, a DJ and producer, whose work was exactly what we were looking for. Check his YouTube for having an idea of what the music could be like. Paul and us have had different meetings, were we have discussed different ways to approach the creation of the music, since his creating and writing new themes for the film.
It might sound strange, having classical dances mixed with disco music, but we surprisingly discovered that they magically fit very well, beats are exactly where they need to be and the rhythm is the same. You don't believe it? Neither we did!!
