Ad Lib is a 3D Animation Short Film that makes a powerful statement in defense of the LGBT community and the freedom of sexual and emotional choice, always through the media of dancing as a metaphor for sex and romance. The film takes place in a huge dance club - which represents the concept of sexuality itself. In there, the dancers must follow very strict rules regarding their dance partners. Our story follows E, a girl who does not agree with this imposed decision, and will have to fight for her right to dance and love, freely in whichever company.

                 The project has been developed by Sensestra Studios during our Senior year at Digipen Bilbao. Currently, the short film is finished, but not released. The release will be around summer 2019. If you want to know as soon as it is online, contact us and we will let you know!

                For making Ad Lib possible we have worked with Kukai Dantza, Paul Swylë and Miren Gaztañaga. Kukai Dantza provided us with the video references required for animating the dances. With the help of Miren, we recorded and explored the acting of the characters. Paul is writing and creating the music, key element for  the atmosphere.
