Background illumination

The illumination of the short film was very important since the begging. We had to think from how we wanted the lines of the characters to be light up to how the many lights of the disco would affect our characters. For that reason, we had to try several things.
In this video, you can see the first ideas for the lines.
Here, you can see a more final version, where the hair particles are implemented as well as the textures.
The main illumination of the character was also explored.
For the background, we needed several pases for achieving the final look.
